  • Is transport provided?
    We provide personal transportation with professional drivers for all journeys. We have two Sprinter vans with AC, and all the documentation, permission and insurance in order.
  • Can you collect me from the airport?
    Yes, we have departures from the the Cancun airport available to take you directly to your accommodation. Please keep in contact with us through the means provided through our website.
  • Can I attend if I have a medical condition?
    It depends on the severity. We outline in detail medical conditions that are not suitable for participants of StarQuest in our guidelines. If you have read our guidelines and are still unsure, please contact us through our website.
  • What do I need to bring with me?
    The transport will allow for each individual to bring with them their necessary belongings. We suggest you pack lightly, but each person is allowed to bring with them one large suitcase and one carry-on luggage, the typical allowance for international flight travel. We kindly ask that you only bring with you what will be needed for two weeks of travel. The ceremonies require for woman to wear a skirt and shirt that covers their shoulders. In our belief, the skirt contains the personal feminine energy of the woman who creates life, and is a traditional aspect of the ceremony. It's recommended that you use light color clothes to compliment the atmosphere we create for you.
  • Can I bring my children?
    Children are not permitted to attend. The journey you will have through StartQuest is into yourself, the focus is on you.
  • Can I bring _____ with me?
    If you are unsure about what you are able to bring with you, please contact us through the means on our website.
  • I don't speak Spanish fluently, is this an issue?
    Not at all! Our guides are multilingual and all communication will be translated for you.
  • Can I get a refund if I leave early?
    ​Once the trip is paid for, there are no full refunds. If you are unable to attend during the dates you booked, we will give you the option to reschedule for another time. Your place will be canceled and given to the next person on our waitlist. Your payment makes StarQuest possible, we can not afford to run StarQuest without participants investment. Your purchase brings this vision to life as we book your accommodation, transport and services which can't be refunded in whole. If you decided to cancel your journey with us up to a week before the starting date, there are options to reimburse you for certain fees, but there is no way to give you back 100% of the cost to attend.
  • What happens during an emergency?
    Your safety is always our priority. We are conscious of where medical attention can be provided to you from all locations on our trips, which is never too far from where we will be associating should something happen.
  • I have never taken plant medicine before, what should I expect?
    You will be thoroughly briefed before StarQuest starts on what to expect, you will also be able to communicate with us leading up to the start of the journey where you can raise any concerns. We suggest that you carry an attitude that allows you to be curious and vulnerable. Each experience is very different. We recommended that you make a list of the reasons why you've decided to participate in StarQuest, building your intentions from that with an open heart to receive your blessings and be free of expectations.
  • What food will be provided?
    Yes, your purchase includes 3 meals a day. Occasionally there will be situations where food will not be provided as we travel between locations, which you will be notified of. For the ceremonies we have a special menu based on the wisdom of the elders. If you have any dietary requirements or allergies please contact us in advance.
  • Can I leave a ceremony before it ends?
    The ceremonies are structured for you to be present throughout the entire experience with your own area to be seated at. You are able to leave at any moment if you feel it is necessary, but we ask that if you are to return, you do it as soon as possible.
  • Can I take pictures during the ceremonies?
    You are not allowed to photograph and film during the ceremonies, but feel free to capture moments outside of them. The majority of the undertaking, individual journeys of participants and lectures / messages from the Elders will be documented on film and photographed during the expedition by our team. You are able to opt out of being included in this prior to the launch of StarQuest if you are not comfortable with being on film. The contents of this footage will be used for future promotional material as well as the upcoming documentary currently being developed on our work.
  • Can I speak with the Elders?
    Absolutely, when the time is appropriate. They are in service to contribute their native medicine and wisdom.
  • Can I leave the ceremony in any time and don´t back?
    No, the ceremonies have a specific format to respect, you must remain in the place of the ceremony, if a person requires assistance during the ceremonies, our team will be attentive to provide support. If someone for some reason does not want to take the medicine of the Elders, that is fine, but the participant will not be able to remain in the ritual because will not complete it as the others.
